So yeah... went out with Sscott and Deb tonight.... 'twas fun. went to Houlihans and had drinks served by a really annoying loud twitchy server girl that wasn't good at her job. Sill, I spent 50+ on scott and I's drinks... he had... umm... a few octoberfest samuel adams beers, I had 2 starbursts and 4 chocolate martinis. I don't like chocolate, but chocolate martinis are good. I wish Iactually had a buzz to show for it, but I'm just semi-feeling good. emphasis on the "semi". *sigh* ah well. lefe goes on. off to play WoW and pretend I have a real life.

Soooo... last night was teh suck. I stocked a whole shitload of crap at damn near what used to be my old normal speed--which is way faster than my poor body can run nowadays. I hurt. Add to that the fact that 2 hours than one hour added together equal the amount of sleep my damn body let me have yesterday. Grrr. Now, after getting 3 hours today before having to get up to pick someone up, I'm awake again. Pray for sleepiness to set in at a decent amount of time before work.

Note to anyone that has tried to contact me at all: I've been in "withdraw from the world" mode. Hell, I haven't even answered calls from my family. Dunno why. Just felt like I needed some "me time" to veg out and not worry about anything/anyone but myself. I'm slowly coming out of it, but I'm not out of the woods yet. :-P

Anyways, update on my life:

I'm single again. have been for a few months now. I'm okay with that--I'm the one that made the decision (big surprise there, eh?) and contrary to popular belief with my relationships, it was NOT because I had another girl lined up. I can exist on my own. I have before--I will again most likely. I'm good like that. Lately my life has revolved around a few major things. Work, which has royally SUCKED lately. I had one firing, one transfer, one "moving to california" (damn him for getting there before me. I wanna go), one guy cut down to 3 days a week instead of 5, and one who has had some other-job and family related issues that have caused him to not be there more than one day a week for the past 3 weeks--if that. All of this happened within a two-week span. Yeah, so that was teh suck. It's still teh suck. My body hurts. My muscles are throbbing on a constant basis and I've woken up because I hurt too much. So yeah... notsomuch on the liking the new thing with work. I did get night manager about the same time that I became single, which is a goodness for the pocketbook, but that also means that the responsibility of getting all the work done falls on me... I HAVE to make sure, and this is why I hurt. On a good note with that--I've started dreaming again. can't remember them too long after I wake up, but the dreams are there. This is a goodness. I don't remember the last time I was regularly remembering dreaming. In fact, before this last week, I don't remember the last time I dreamed period. Anyways... what else am I doing with my life? One word: WOW. It's in all caps for a reason. World Of Warcraft is a great addiction. Very VERY in-depth game that is fun and interesting to play. I've been spending countless hours on it hiding from the real world. If anyone plays WOW and wants to contact me get on the Sargeras server and look for people in the guild "Liberi Nox Nocti" and ask if they've seen me. That's the "house guild" for the apartment. my "main" is a 56 mage named "Burninated", but I also have a 41 warlock (Thoraken), a 27 warrior (Words), a 14 druid (Werecow), a 21 shaman (Sorkah), a "bank" that sells stuff in the auction house for my characters (Trog) and a few other characters that I don't really care too much about so I won't mention. Other than that, my life has been.... living. I went through a financial dearth last moth as a result of paying off bills that I said I'd pay off because I was trying to be nice.... I probably shouldn't have said that, but eh.... I did, and I'm over it and I should start being a lot more financially stable now. Okay... I think I'm done for now with the whole updatey thing. ciao!

Okay, got a poll here.

Uh huh. Yeah. I understand.

So I've been avoiding this whole "post on LJ" thing for a while... not sure ALL the reasons, but whateva. I guess I just don't wanna be one of those people that get on and post things like "I burped today, but no one was around so I guess I shouldn't be embarassed, but I still am." Yeah, I hate those type of posthOrs. I also don't want to use this as my "bitching post" to post about problems in my life, which I have some (who doesn't), but most of them are directly results of poor decisions on my part and most I could fix with a simple "I'm done" or something of the nature. but yeah... won't go into that, either.

Things I've done recently:
I realized I needed to finally go pay for my tags renewal. Ok, so maybe I knew it already, but it was enforced by the pretty flashy lights behind my truck and the little "ok, sign here" that I had to do. But when I went and actually paid for my tags they dismissed the charges (and the no insurance 'cuz I didn't have the nifty little card on me) so it was ok.

I ate at Jonny Cascone's tonight. Chicken Marsala. It was good, but Italian. I love italian food... and Mexican food... buuuuut.... all Rhonda will eat is Perkins, Italian or Mexican. Mainly Italian. Pizza, pasta, bread and the like is my diet, as it is her diet. **sigh** Yeah, so getting really tired of it. I love all sorts of foods. I'm beginning to lose my appetite completely 'cuz I don't want to taste the same type of food any more. This is not a good thing. I don't need to lose weight. At all. SHE might... she weighs like 30 or 40 more than I do and is kinda short. Example: we went to a bar nearby for taco teusdays earlier this week. I just wanted the 50 cent tacos. She decided we should get potato skins, too. (they're fried--she likes fried foods, too) Yes, I ate some--they were there. After those we got tacos. I ate two. She ate FOUR. come on... there's a point where you look at the food and decide ya don't really need it, isn't there?
ok sorry switched to bitching. I'll stop.

Ummm... I got Civ IV!! YAY!! (I already posted about that, but now I've played it after a big headache with installing it and re-installing everything on my computer, etc.

Ooohhh! I got a digital camera a few weeks back! First picture I took with it? ummm... yeah.... What seems to be my favorite picture subject. heh. So it's hard to take pictures of yourself above your beltline, ok? I won't post those pics... I promise. hehe.

Civ IV is now in my possession. *GLEE!!!* Consequently, I will most likely be playing quite a bit of my new game 'cuz it rawks. The only issue I have is that I got a collector's edition... and the "technology tree" thingy is in freakin' FRENCH! Everything else is in English, but the stupid technology tree map is in french!! Yay for quizzes... stolen from someone I respect a whole bunch that needs to keep going in good directions in her life 'cuz shes awesome.

1. What was the first car your family had?
The first car I remember CLEARLY and a lot was a baby blue Toyota Celica. That was way back when... well... Lets just say I was a little tyke. It was my mom's car to drive usually--and I'm pretty sure the steering was WAY loose on it because I distinctly remember for the longest time thinking you drove down the road straight by turning the steering wheel left to right in rapid succession. I also remember the '57? chevy that sat in the back yard forEVER waiting for my dad to find time to fix it (he never did), the Chevy Bel-aire (i think that's what it was--the one with the little plane on the hood) and my dad's suburban. (I think I fell in love with trucks with that Suburban).
2. What was the name of your first pet and why?
Sassy. We thought she was a mutt, but found out later (strangely enough through a Dewars White label magazine ad) that she was probably a full-blooded Scottish Border Collie. She was smart as hell, but was a trasher, which means she used her smarts to do things like open the gate so she could go trashing. I loved that dog.
3. How did your first pet die?
We put her to sleep at age 13 or 14. She couldn't see, she couldn't walk, she couldn't even get up any more when she was laying down. She would try, then give up and just stay laying down. You could tell she was in constant huge amounts of pain.
4. What was the name of your primary school? Crestview Elementary... except for 2nd? grade where I went to some other grade school I could drive you to but don't know the name of 'cuz they had an after-school program.
5. Who was your first best friend?
Brian. hehe. Actually, it was Brian Barton.
6. Are you still friends today, and if not, what happened? Nope. He moved away when I was in first or second grade. Strangely enough, like five years back I started dating a girl named Heather. *coughbitchcough* *ahem* Her last name happened to be Barton. If you could cut through the massive amounts of total BULLSHIT she told people was her real life, you'd find out that she was, indeed, the younger sister of the aforementioned Brian. small, small world--I met her at Perkins.
7. What was your favorite board game? I think my favorite board game was a toss-up between Trivial Pursuit, Clue Master Detective (it's BIGGER), and RISK. Risk we didn't play all that often 'cuz my brother hates losing and little tiny armies are a pain in the arse to find and pick up.
8. Did you play house or other make believe games?
Legos! Lots and lots and LOTS of legos. I played tons of other imagination games, too... we didn't have a tv.
9. Were you a Dungeons and Dragons geek?
Nope. That's not saying I'm NOT... I'm just sayin' then I wasn't.
10. Did you sleep with stuffed animals as a kid?
Hell yes! I had a whole BUNCH of the suckers.

Notsomuch. I will admit that if there's a stuffed animal nearby I'll clench it in my arm while I sleep... but I don't have any I "sleep with"

I'd say probably my Dad. I'm not honestly sure.

Umm... I'm gonna say my grandma. She's just awesome.

English! Love that class.

Ummm. I'm not honestly sure. We'll go with Math, but that's just cuz I hated doing the repetitive work.

(also known as Chuck E. Cheese) For special occaision purposes: Gojo's. Japaneese steakhouse. Yummmmmmy.
